New Rules and Regulation for 2015 admission in Delhi University !

Delhi University will start online registration for its 52 undergraduate programmes from May 28 while offline registration will begin from June 5. This year no additional eligibility criteria, such as minimum percentage marks to qualify for certain subjects, will be applicable for admission.

This year DU discourage students from applying offline. Earlier, the university used to sell both offline and online pre-registration forms for undergraduate courses on the same date. DU will continue to stick to its ‘best of four’ formula in this session as well. Applicants can include marks of the subject in which he/she wishes to do major in, one language subject and two other subjects. students who wish to do Honours in English and Hindi must have studied the subjects in Class XII. Similarly, students wanting to pursue BA Economics (Hons) and BCom (Hons) should apply only if they have secured passing marks in Mathematics in Class XII.

DU has also done away with entrance tests for various courses. The university will hold entrance test only for BA (Hons) in Business Economics and BBFIA. Students can register for the tests from May 20, with the entrance test scheduled for June 4.

The first admission list by colleges will be put up on June 25, followed by six more lists. Students will get three days to complete their enrollment after the first cut-off is released. Admission counters will remain open from 9 am to 1 pm, and in evening colleges between 4 pm and 7 pm. The university will also conduct open house sessions between May 21 to May 30 at North Campus to address admission related queries.
