State Farms Corporation of India Limited under the Administrative control of Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation is an apex body engaged in the production of quality seeds and distribution, invites applications from Indian Nationals for filling up the following posts on direct recruitment basis ;

01.Name of the post : Asst General Manager (Mktg) / Manager (Mktg) : 02
Maximum Age as on 31.12.2012 : 53 Years / 48 Years
Qualification : B.Sc (Agri) plus MBA (Marketing / Agri Business Management ) OR equivalent from recognized University / Institutions with minimum 60 % marks.

02.Name of the post : Manager (Production) / Assistant Manager (Production) : 06
Maximum Age as on 31.12.2012 : 45/35 years for UR; 48/38 years for OBC ; 50/40 years for SC/ST
Qualification : B.Sc (Agri) plus MBA (Agri.Business Management) OR M.Sc (Agri.) with specialization in Agronomy / Seed technology / Plant Breeding / Genetics / Entomology / Plant Pathology from recognized University / Institutions with minimum 60 % marks.

03.Name of the post : Management Trainee (Human Resource Management): 03
Maximum Age as on 31.12.2012 : 30 years for UR; 33 years for OBC; 35 years for SC
Qualification : Two years full time P.G Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour Welfare/HR Management or 02 years full time MBA (HRM) from recognized University /Institution with minimum 60 % marks.

Maximum Age as on 31.12.2012 : 33 years for OBC; 35 years for ST
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Agri Engg) from recognized University / Institutions with minimum 60 % marks.

05.Name of the post : Management Trainee (Civil Engg) : 03
Maximum Age as on 31.12.2012 : 30 years for UR; 33 years for OBC; 35 years for SC
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Civil Engg) from recognized University / Institutions with minimum 60 % marks.

06.Name of the post : Management Trainee (Finance) : 02

5. out of which 04 years should be in supervisory position equal to Rs. 12600- 32500/- scale of SFCI Limited & above/ 02 years should be in supervisory position equal

6. experience in next below scale i.e. Rs.16,400 – 40,500 /- or 5 years experience in the scale of Rs. 12,600-32,500/- and above or equivalent in the related fields for Manager (Production) OR 02 years experience in the next

7. Management Trainee (HRM) : – Two years full time P.G Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour Welfare/HR Management or 02 years full time MBA (HRM) from recognized University /Institution with minimum 60 % marks.Management Trainee (Engg)

8. Management Trainee (Civil Engg) : – B.E/B.Tech (Civil Engg) from recognized University / Institutions with minimum 60 % marks.Management Trainee (Finance)

9. On successful completion of training period of one year and satisfactory performance during the training and personal interview, the trainees may be considered for absorption as Assistant Manager in respective discipline

About the organization:
The origin of State Farms Corporation of India Limited (SFCI) goes back to 1956 when first mechanized farm was established in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan with the machinery gifted by erstwhile USSR on the eve of the visit of Marshal Bulganin. While inaugurating the first farm at Suratgarh in 1956, the first Prime Minister of India Late Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru called it a ‘ SYMBOL OF RESURGENT INDIA’. Subsequently, late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India remarked, “ the Suratgarh farm has shown us how human will and scientific ingenuity can make desert bloom”.Later on with the success of large mechanized farm at Suratgarh, many new farms were added in India with the Russian assistance. In 1969, to manage the affair of these farms, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Agriculture was set up with in the name of STATE FARMS CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED.As on date, SFCI is managing six large mechanized farms situated in 4 states in different agro climatic zones of the Country
