Applications Are Invited From Indian Citizens For The Post Of “Economic Investigator”

1.Name of the post : Economic Investigator  : 19
Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200
Cadre : All India Cadre
Age : Not below 18 years and not above 30 years.

Eligibility : Educational Qualification & Experience : Bachelor Degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce from a recognized University and three years experience in collection/tabulation analysis of statistical data or research in economic field in any organization.

Desirable : Training in any branch of Statistics or research in the field of Economics and knowledge of computer applications

Selection Procedure : Selection will be on the basis of the performance in personal interview

Appointment :The candidates selected will be posted anywhere in India.

i) Application format should be typed neatly in Hindi or English.

ii) Application and copies of the required Certificates must be sent by ordinary post only in a cover super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ECONOMIC INVESTIGATOR “. General Instructions:
A Candidates already employed in Government / Public Sector Undertakings shall be required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer, at the time of the interview.

B The candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC categories should attach certified copy of the SC / ST / OBC caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India, failing which, his / her application is liable to be rejected. Mere “Declaration on Oath” is not accepted.

C The candidates should not send ORIGINALS / COPIES of any other certificates / testimonials

D Candidates are required to paste one recent passport size photograph in the space provided for in the application format and sign it across. They are advised to retain two copies of the same photograph for use at the time of written / interview. Failure to produce the same photograph at that time will lead to disqualification of the candidates

E KVIC shall not be responsible for an application being rejected which is based on wrong information provided and / or in any advertisement issued by an unauthorized person / institution

F If called Candidates have to appear for the written test/Skill Test/Interview at their own cost. However, unemployed SC/ST candidates who are called for interview will be reimbursed II Class Rail / Bus fare, as per the rules

G Selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions of the service regulations under KVIC.

H The selected candidates will be eligible under New Pension Scheme introduced by the Government of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004.

I Before applying for the post, candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility norms in all respects as mentioned in this advertisement, as on the dates specified. The KVIC shall be free to reject any candidature at any stage of the recruitment process, if he / she is found to be ineligible for the post for which he / she has applied.

J The decision of the KVIC in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidates, conduct of examinations, skill test, interview, selection and appointment of candidates etc. would be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence would be entertained by the KVIC in this behalf.

K In case any candidate desires to institute any legal proceedings against the KVIC in respect of anything done or proposed to be done by the KVIC in relation to him or her, such legal proceedings shall be instituted only in the courts in Mumbai and not in other Courts.

L Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification

M The candidate should send only one application in an envelope.

any industry located in a rural area which produces any goods or renders any service with or without the use of power and in which the fixed capital investment per head of an artisan or a worker does not exceed 6[one lakh rupees] or such other sum as may, by notification in the Official Gazette, be specified from time to time by the Central Government;Provided that any industry specified in the Schedule and located in an area Definitions other than a rural area and recognised as a village industry at any time before the commencement of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (Amendment) Act, 1987 shall, notwithstanding anything contained in the sub-clause, continue to be a village industry under this Act;Provided further that in the case of any industry located in a hilly area, the provisions of this sub-clause shall have effect as if for the words “one lakh rupees”, the words “one lakh and fifty thousand rupees” had been substituted. any other non-manufacturing unit established for the sole purpose of promoting, maintaining, assisting, servicing (including mother units) or managing any village industry.
